ABOUT DAVID ARSCOTT

A former newspaper journalist and BBC producer/presenter, David Arscott has for some years worked as a freelance author, broadcaster, publisher and editor. He has written some 30 books on Sussex, for various publishers apart from his own Pomegranate Press. His published fiction includes Cultic Cyphers from Celtic Cyprus (7,5), a literary novel with a crossword puzzle theme, and the short story collection Maracas in Caracas. With David Marl (under the pseudonym David Johns) he has written Boyhunt and the Eye & Blade Trilogy, The Frozen City, A Flight of Bright Birds and Shadows in Crimson Colours.

He is the founder of The Sussex Book Club, which brings its members regular news of the latest books about the county, and is also honorary secretary of the Society of Sussex Authors, which meets informally in Lewes six times a year and welcomes new, published, members.

David also specialises in media training, working with colleagues in the UK and abroad to coach groups and individuals in improving their skills in front of the microphone and the camera.

Apart from the books he has published himself, David has written many for other publishers. Here are a few currently in print, all available through the Sussex Book Club.
